NTFS Undelete is an application that allows you to recover deleted files. It recovers files directly from hard drive, and it will work even if you empty Recycle Bin. When you delete a file, its content physically remains intact on the media, but the occupied space becomes marked as free. Next file saved to the disk may overwrite the contents of the deleted file.
It is very important to make sure that no application writes to the drive or partition where deleted file is located since every new file (even a small one) may overwrite the deleted file.

NTFS Undelete is a powerful open source application that allows you to recover deleted files from your hard drive in a few minutes. It retrieves files lost due to accidental removal or deletion from the Windows Recycle Bin. It enables you to either make a complete scan of the selected volume, perform a simple or advance search by selecting file masks, and also recover marked files, including many options such as folder structure, data streams, or damaged files. You can also select the results of the search to be provided in columns that include the name, create date, modify date, size, etc., hex preview and highlight path with deleted entries. Once the recovery is finished, it presents the results in a log with any messages, successes, warnings, and errors that occur during the recovery process. The interface is really simple and intuitive, very similar to Windows Explorer, which makes this task a breeze. If you only need to recover NTFS file systems, I would really recommend this program because it is very complete for being free. It supports 2000/2003/XP/Vista |

* The speed of disk scanning increased dramatically.
* Folders which contain deleted files or deleted folders are now highlighted. (This feature helps you find files you want to undelete.).
